HI, my name is Alex. I dance krump 15 years already and seriously make music 10. It took me lot of years to understand my real job is krump music, selling albums and doing custom music is my real daily job and the way to make money for living.  

Since pandemic happened my life changed a lot, me and my fiancé moved to other city (thats good) and i completely stopped traveling with krump/djing (thats bad). This year i witnessed depression for the first time in my life twice. The thing that brought me into that feeling was me being scared on whats next. My whole life consisted my expressing myself with music, dance and djing. I felt i didn’t have plans and new goals for the future. I felt empty and sad. I wanted to give up music and dancing and it scared me even more because thats my two biggest activities in life. I understood it wont fix anything, because i make music and dance because i do love it. In the moment with the darkest feelings i found the little light to keep pushing.  

Previous album (Freakshow) rescued me from the first depression. This album (Doppelganger) rescues me this time again. My music changed, sometimes it became slower and darker… but in the end of the day i won the darkness and i believe this is not the end. This is one of the life lessons and bitter experience.   

By releasing this album i free myself from my dark feelings = the doppelganger who i met dozen times during my life… and maybe will meet again. But now i know how to fight it without lying to myself.  

Keep pushing. Stay strong.
